Steamed Crab Reheating Instructions

Stovetop Method (Recommended):

  1. Grab a large pot and bring a small amount of water to a boil.
  2. Place a rack or steaming insert inside to keep crabs above the water level.
  3. Optional: Add a splash of beer, a bit of vinegar, and your favorite seafood seasoning to the water for extra flavor.
  4. Once steaming, place crabs on the rack lightly seasoning the crabs as you put them in and cover. Steam for 8–10 minutes until heated through.
  5. Carefully test a claw — the meat should be hot, but not dried out.

Microwave Method (Quick Option):

  1. Place crabs on a microwave-safe dish.
  2. Cover with a damp paper towel.
  3. Microwave on high for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Check for warmth — don’t overcook!
